INSULATED COMPOSITE BACKUP PANEL SYSTEMS

INSULATED COMPOSITE BACKUP PANEL SYSTEMS

The ultimate barrier wall system, MetalWrap insulated composite backup panels are designed with CENTRIA’s innovative advanced thermal and moisture protection (ATMP®) technology. They provide an effective air, water, thermal and vapor barrier within a single barrier wall component. Compared to multi-component construction, our single-component backup wall systems offer quick and easy one-step installation. This reduces the number of installers and manufacturers, consolidating the responsibility.

Our MetalWrap insulated composite backup panels deliver exceptional versatility at the jobsite and beyond. We offer vertical and horizontal profiles so that you can fully customize the look of your building’s exterior. MetalWrap Integrated feature integral attachment systems for multiple materials, making these barrier wall panels the perfect choice for mixed-medium exteriors. They’re also designed to support rainscreens. Our backup wall systems are ideal for a variety of applications including sports arenas, hospitals, performing arts facilities, warehouses, distribution facilities and more.

CENTRIA barrier wall systems & composite backup panels can also serve a wide variety of industries and applications. The MetlWrap Integrated series, for example, is a fantastic choice for mixed medium exteriors like multi-residential buildings. This is due to its robust configuration options and various attachments like the MR-100 and MR-300.

Utilized in a variety of applications such as healthcare, stadiums, and convention centers, among others, CENTRIA composite backup systems provide the ultimate backup wall for nearly any type of exterior rainscreen system, from concept series to brick, terra cotta and other.

MetalWrap insulated composite backup panels serve as the ultimate backup wall for nearly any type of exterior rainscreen system, from single-skin metal to brick, terra cotta and others.

METALWRAP MR-100

METALWRAP MR-100

MetalWrap is an insulated composite backup panel system that consists of two steel skins, permanently bonded to a poured-in-place foam insulating core. The panel provides thermal, air, water, and vapor barriers in a composite assembly. The MR-100 attachment system offers enhanced flexibility, faster installation, and superior thermal performance throughout the joint. The system integrates with the panel joinery, is continuous along the panel length and is designed to work with different exterior rainscreen materials.

METALWRAP MASONRY

METALWRAP MASONRY

MetalWrap is an insulated composite backup panel system that consists of two steel skins, permanently bonded to a poured-in-place foam insulating core. Custom integrated panel clips into the panel joint and face clips provide the required attachment points for a masonry exterior. It is recommended for use with 18-gauge steel studs.

METALWRAP MR-300

METALWRAP MR-300

MetalWrap is an insulated composite backup panel system that consists of two steel skins, permanently bonded to a poured-in-place foam insulating core. The panel provides thermal, air, water, and vapor barriers in a composite assembly. The MR-300 attachment system offers enhanced flexibility, faster installation, and superior thermal performance throughout the joint. The system integrates with the panel joinery, is continuous along the panel length and is designed to work with different exterior rainscreen materials.

METALWRAP WITH CLIPS

METALWRAP WITH CLIPS

MetalWrap with integrated panel clips is an insulated composite backup panel system that consists of two steel skins, permanently bonded to a poured-in-place foam insulating core. The panel provides thermal, air, water, and vapor barriers in a composite assembly. Special attachment clips integrate with the panel joinery. Subgirts are fastened through the clips into the studs allowing for a variety of exterior rainscreen materials to be attached. It is recommended for use with 18-gauge minimum steel studs.

MetalWrap Long Span Series

MetalWrap Long Span exterior composite wall panels provide a flexible option for applications that require direct attachment to steel girts up to 6’ o.c. The insulated composite backup panel system consists of two steel skins permanently bonded to a poured-in-place foam insulating core. Various attachment systems are available to accommodate different exterior rainscreen materials using steel sub-girts.

METALWRAP LONG SPAN SERIES

METALWRAP LONG SPAN SERIES

MetalWrap Long Span Series is an insulated composite backup panel system that consists of two steel skins permanently bonded to a poured-in-place foam insulating core. The panel provides thermal, air, water, and vapor barriers in a composite assembly. This single component assembly replaces multiple components used for backup wall systems. Various attachment systems are available to accommodate different exterior rainscreen materials using steel subgirts.

MetalWrap Integrated Solutions

MetalWrap insulated composite backup panels showcase integrated components, including windows and louvers. The product’s single-component construction means a single source of responsibility, leading to less coordination, fewer scheduling and interface issues, and one-step installation by one contractor.

METALWRAP INTEGRATED WINDOWS

METALWRAP INTEGRATED WINDOWS

MetalWrap is the only insulated composite backup panel with an integrated window system. CENTRIA’s Formavue 600 Window further enhances air and water performance and reduces risks for both the architect and the building owner. The window also features large thermal breaks aligned with the panel insulation as well as additional insulation in the head of the window frame.

METALWRAP INTEGRATED LOUVERS

METALWRAP INTEGRATED LOUVERS

The MetalWrap integrated louver system, developed in conjunction with the CS GROUP, INC., is designed for large areas where louvers are an architectural feature. The system utilizes storm resistant MW-7315 front blades over horizontal MetalWrap Series MR-300 system in the inactive louver area. Both the attachment system and the panel face are painted black, providing a seamless transition between the active and inactive louvers.

The lengths can range from 6′-0″ to 45′-0″ depending on the design needs.

A barrier wall and a drainage wall are two types of exterior wall systems used in building construction. The main difference between them is in how they manage water that enters the wall system. A barrier wall system is designed to stop all water at the exterior face of the wall. A drainage wall system, on the other hand, is designed to allow water to enter the wall system but then directs it back out again through a drainage system.

CENTRIA’s MetalWrap™ Series provides a 10-year weathertight warranty.
