Northern Quest Resort & Casino has been described as the Inland Northwest’s only AAA rated Four Diamond Casino Resort. It also earned the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Hotel rating for providing guests with exceptional travel experiences. CENTRIA insulated metal panels were used on the project which is located in Airway Heights, WA.
Northern Quest was originally built as just a casino, but this expansion project expanded the casino to 55,000 modern square feet with 1,650 slots and progressives, a dedicated nine-table poker room, and 37 table games including craps, roulette and blackjack. The expansion also added a luxurious 250-room hotel. Architects used a fusion of abstracted Native American and contemporary design to create this four-diamond quality destination casino resort uniquely tailored for the Inland Northwest tourism market.
CENTRIA’s Formawall Dimension Series wall panels were chosen because of their superior benefits in terms of performance, sustainability and aesthetics.
Formawall Dimension Series is a wall system that provides advanced thermal and moisture protection (ATMP®) in a single panelized component. Formawall Dimension Series panels can be installed as a single component, increasing efficiency in construction and eliminating jobsite waste. Formawall Dimension Series panels ensure high-quality, long-term performance thanks to pressure-equalized joinery, thermal breaks between face and liner and an efficient, factory foamed-in-place core—eliminating insulation gaps.
In terms of aesthetics, the panels were chosen because they provide a clean, uninterrupted appearance with the use of concealed fasteners, clips and sealants. The panels also offer a variety of possibilities in terms of form, color and texture. In varying shades of bronze, the panels helped create a design that is visually pleasing and inviting to casino guests.
