An extension of the Hilldale Baptist Church, the Family Life Center was designed for recreation and fellowship. Completed in 2008, the 55,370-square-foot (5,144-m2) facility houses a racquetball court, weight and fitness room, gym, senior adult area and large fellowship hall that can seat 800 people for banquets and 500 people for worship.

CENTRIA supplied 17,007 square feet (1,580 m2) of 22/26-gauge Versawall vertical wall panels in Dove Gray with an embossed Fluorofinish coating, along with 1,773 square feet (165 m2) of 22/26-gauge Formawall Dimension Series DS60 2-inch (51-mm) horizontal wall panels in Dove Gray with an embossed Fluorofinish coating.

The Versawall panels and Formawall Dimension Series products were chosen because they are environmentally responsible and have achieved Silver Cradle-to-Cradle certification. The gray Versawall panels provide a striking contrast with the building’s red brick and give the facility a traditional, yet contemporary, look that helps the church’s façade stand out. The panels’ concealed fasteners provide a natural, smooth and consistent surface for the church’s walls. The Versawall panels provide outstanding weather resistance while their light weight allowed for lower installation costs.
